Concours International des Cabernets: The annual meeting of cabernets from all over the world!

The tasting has the dual objective of rewarding the best Cabernets and electing the Best Cabernet in the World. It is carried out by a jury of experts made up of sommeliers who are mostly members of the Union de la Sommellerie Française.

A BLIND TASTING BY SOMMELIERS
Most of the competition's jury sommeliers are in the Union de la Sommellerie Française, a 1200-strong group of sommeliers, that awards the title of best Sommelier in France, among other things. Jurys are composed of sommeliers who blind taste several wines in a
category. Prior to tasting, bottles are covered, numbered and sorted in accordance with their
percentage of cabernet, origin and terroir.

ELECTION OF THE WORLD’S BEST CABERNET: The Supreme Award!
At the end of the first tasting, a ‘grand jury’ re-tastes the best wine of each table in order to
determine the World’s Best Cabernet. The grand jury is composed of several professional
sommeliers who have distinguished themselves in the wine world (World’s Best Sommelier, Meilleur Ouvrier de France, Best Sommelier in France, Sommelier of the Year, etc. ).In 2023, the Wein aus der Europäischen Union 2016 by Don Angel Wine was rewarded

All samples will be tasted in compliance with very strict hygiene measures, Competition regulations and ISO9001 certification.
